Not sure what to say?

Larry never failed to brighten my day here at Mystic Seaport Museum. He was charming, kind, delightfully quirky, caring, and a great educator who shared his joy of the stars, solar flares, and groan-worthy puns with so many of us. One of my favorite memories was watching him set up his telescope on our green and invite people to come and take a look at solar flares through a special filter. His enthusiasm and depth of knowledge were unsurpassed. He is missed by us all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I am just one of many who met Larry just a couple times, but was charmed by his smile, humor, and wit. I'm sad that our first boogie on the dance floor was also our last...but he made me feel beautiful that night, and I'll always remember that. Now he is dancing in the stars he knew so well.

Larry, you have been taken too soon..always a warm and gentle soul...may you rest in piece my friend.::

Katharine, Please accept our heartfelt condolescences for the loss of your dear brother. May love and support bring peace and healing to you and your family. All our love, the Harris Family.

Katharine, I met your brother only a few times but his humor made a lasting impression. Im so sorry for your loss. May Larry Rest In Peace with our Lord and that you find peace through His Grace.

I always made time to sit and chat with Larry when I would see him at conferences. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to share. I will miss you at our future conferences. My deepest condolences to all of Larry's family and friends.

Larry was always a pleasure to meet and talk to at planetarium conferences, which is where I met him. As Ive seen his name recently its always his smile that I remember. My sincere condolences to the family - he will be missed but always remembered with a smile.

I've known Larry since the 1990's when we worked together at the planetarium in Boston. He loved sharing his excitement of astronomy with others, had a great sense of humor and told me how happy he was working at Mystic Seaport. He is gone much too soon...

Mike and Kathy....please accept our condolences at Larrys passing. You and Larry are in our prayers. Wishing you peace.
