Lawrence John Kuhn

Lawrence John Kuhn aged 77, passed away on June 9,2024 at his home in Bluffton, SC. He was born on December 13, 1946, to parents John and Bernadine Kuhn in Olean, NY. He went into the Air Force following High School Graduation where he served his country in the Vietnam War. He retired from Dresser-Rand as a Machine Shop Supervisor. He enjoyed bowling, pool and golf. He was talented enough to bowl a perfect 300 game in bowling. He and his wife retired to South Carolina from Western New York. They both enjoyed working at Publix during retirement.
Larry is predeceased by both his parents, his wife Judith Kuhn, his brother Michael (Karen) Kuhn and his granddaughter Kelly Renae Swift. Larry is survived by his brother John (Bonnie) Kuhn, his four children; Steve Kuhn, Vicki (Jeff) Ratzel, Kathy (Steve) Livingston, Heather (Joe) Gerwitz and he and Judy's beloved K9 companion, DD. Larry is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Larry was loved and will be missed by so many family and friends.

You may have thought I didn't see,
Or that I hadn't heard,
Life lessons that you taught me,
But I got every word.
Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we'd grow apart,
Without you Dad, I wouldn't be
The (woman) I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.
I've grown up with your values,
And I'm very glad I did;
