Lawrence Phillip Miles

Lawrence Phillip Miles, 76 of Culpeper, Virginia formally of Orange, Virginia died on Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home in Culpeper, Virginia. He was born to the late Mamie Lee Miles.
John was educated in Orange County Public Schools, George Washington Carver High School, Culpeper, Virginia. He received his GED in New Jersey, once completing his education he voluntarily enlisted in the United States Army.
E5 Buck Sergeant Lawrence Miles – 82nd Airborne Army Calvary proudly served 2 years in the Vietnam War. Upon his completion of service, he returned to New Jersey and became a controller and a school bus driver.
He is survived by his siblings Joanne Miles Mack of Culpeper, Virginia, Wayne Miles & Vickie Miles of Orange, Virginia, Florence Miles & Gwendolyn Miles of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Catherine Wigenton of Centreville, Virginia, one Aunt Roselyn Miles of Louisa, Virginia.
Additional survivors are a very large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, Godchildren and friends.

Services will be held on February 14, 2026 @12:00 pm at Preddy's Funeral Home in the Preddy's Chapel, Orange, Virginia.
