Lawrence F. Montroy

LAWRENCE F. MONTROY, 92, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:14 am, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late J. L. and Cecelia (nee Moskop) Montroy on March 16, 1933 in Chester, Illinois.

Lawrence married Patricia Patterson on June 14, 1978 in Chester, Illinois; she survives.

He owned and operated Montroy Jewelry for 42 years in Chester, Illinois. Lawrence was an avid bowler. He was a member of the Bowlers Hall of Fame for his numerous 300 games.

Lawrence was a member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois.

Preceded in Death by: Parents and 3 Brothers

It was Lawrence’s wish to be cremated.
