Lawrence S. Nadeau June 12, 1939 – September 30, 2025 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lawrence S. Nadeau (Larry), who died peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on June 12, 1939, Larry was a vibrant soul whose zest for life, love for family, and infectious energy touched everyone he met. Larry was the life of the party, always bringing laughter and joy to any room he entered. His sense of humor, quick wit, and warm heart made him a beloved friend to many. Whether on the golf course or enjoying a beer with friends, Larry had a way of making every moment feel special. Above all, Larry was devoted to his family. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, Bonnie, with whom he shared 52 wonderful years of marriage. They shared a love of travel, whether just "taking a drive", or heading to the casino. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie, his parents, Walter and Lucille, and his brother, Dick (Carol). He is survived by his children, Tom (Debbie), Jenny (Scott), and Suzanne, and his grandchildren, Megan and Matthew, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron (Pat) and Nancy. Larry had a passion for golf that lasted well into his later years, and his love for the game was matched only by his competitive spirit. He took great joy in both the challenge and camaraderie that the sport provided. He also had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life - whether it was a sunny afternoon on the course or a relaxing getaway with his wife. A memorial service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at the Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home (515 Highway 96 West Shoreview, MN 55126) on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, at 11:00am. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Enrich Inc. 3754 Rustic Place, Shoreview, MN 55126 (who provide day services, respite care, and housing for adults with special needs) in his memory. Larry's legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
