One of his favorite past times was riding motorcycles with his compadre Lawrence. They were able to fit in a cross country trip at one point and that was a real highlight for him. Lawrence was a football fanatic and had a lifetime loyalty to the Washington Redskins.
Lawrence grew up around the Propane Industry. His Dad started his own Propane Company in 1973 and Lawrence worked side by side with him learning the ins and outs of the business from a young age. After graduating from Valley High School in 1983, Lawrence continued in the family business. He could tell you all the rules and regulations in reference to propane and could tear apart a LP pump and put it back together like nobody else; the great part was that it wasn't work to him, he really enjoyed it. He spent 45 years in the business and was still working to present day.
