Lawrence Pugh Obituary
On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Lawrence Pugh, husband of Frances Montgomery Pugh, passed peacefully from this life at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born on Wednesday, September 13, 1950, in Manning, he was a son of the late Joseph and Bessie Spann Pugh, Sr.
Services celebrating his life will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 1:00pm from the William McKinley Parker Gymnasium located on the campus of the Manning Elementary School, 311 West Boyce St., Manning, where the Rev. Ronnie Smiling, pastor of the Bethesda Baptist Church, Sumter, will preside. The Rev. William Dukes, Sr., pastor of the Fourth Crossroad Baptist Church, will bring words of comfort. The service of committal will follow in the family plot located in the Fourth Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 4:00pm - 6:00pm from the Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 West Boyce St., Manning.
The family is receiving relatives and friends 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the residence, 822 Bellwood Ct., Bellwood Subdivision, Manning.
