Lawrence Robinson Obituary
Mr. Robinson was born on December 18, 1943, in Thomasville, Georgia. He later made Havana, Florida his home, where he was a faithful member of Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church. He received his education through the local school system and attended Lively Technical School. Lawrence was employed for many years as a Hall Manager at Florida State University until his retirement.
A proud Vietnam Veteran, Mr. Robinson honorably served his country in the United States Army. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing music, fishing, and caring for his yard. He was known as a dedicated musician, a meticulous dresser, and a man who took pride in all that he did.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his devoted spouse, Linda B. Robinson of Havana, Florida; one son, Darren Johnson of Tallahassee, Florida; one godson, Dr. Cameron Brown (Kiffani) of Tallahassee, Florida; two goddaughters, Breanna Swatts of Tallahassee, Florida and Kyanna Gainous of Midway, FL; two siblings, Joseph Robinson of Havana, Florida and Larry Robinson (Shirley) of Goldsboro, North Carolina. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Lawrence (Lil Lo), Mar'kuan (M&M), A. Cardrell (Baby Girl), Darius (Boo), Darren Jr., Derriana, and Dallas, all of Tallahassee, Florida; along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, Havana, Florida. Interment will follow at Tallahassee National Cemetery, Tallahassee, Florida. Viewing and visitation will be held 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association or to a charity of your choice.

Linda ànd family please know that words and tears are very hard to express how I'm feeling right now. You know how I felt about Lawrence and how I tried to show him during my visits and calls to him. To the family Larry and Joseph know that our memories of Lawrence and his letting us use the red convertible ford should help to carry us through our grief. I am praying for and with you
