Lawrence "Larry" John Rumage, 75, tragically passed away early morning July 4, 2025.
He was born in Newark, NJ, grew up in Avenel, NJ with his three brothers, Rick(Annette), Tom(Patricia), and Jeff(Lynn) Rumage, until he left for college at the John F Kennedy College in Wahoo, Nebraska. After attending university, he lived in Colorado Springs, CO for a short time before planting his roots in the sunny state of Arizona. After settling down in Scottsdale, AZ, he had two beautiful children that were the light of his life.
Predeceased by his parents George and Ann(McGovern), and life partner Linda Thompson.
He is survived by his two children, son, Parker Steelman, and daughter, Madison Rumage of Arizona, his three brothers, 8 nieces/nephews, 7 grand nieces/nephews, and the hundreds of friends he gathered across the country.
Services will be held in both New Jersey and Arizona, both will be organized by his children, details to come at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ.
