Lawrence Regis "Larry" Schweikarth

Lawrence Regis "Larry" Schweikarth, age 69, of Trafford, passed away on Monday September 8, 2025. His soul was surrounded by his children on his journey into the Lord's arms. Larry was born on June 2, 1956 in Braddock the son of the late Philip and Helen (Kelly) Schweikarth. Early in his career he was an auto mechanic for 25 years for Trafford Motor Chrysler Dealer in Trafford and in 1995 he became a successful entrepreneur opening Schweikarth's Auto Service in Level Green which was later taken over by his son. In Larry's free time, he enjoyed his freedom on the open road riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed singing karaoke and playing his harmonica. His favorite songs included The Piano Man and Give me One Reason. He had a profound sense of humor, a rebellious spirit, and the rare gift of building community wherever he found himself. He was dearly loved by all of his family. Larry is survived by his four children Nicholas (Wendy Jo) Schweikarth, Lindsay Schweikarth, Michael Schweikarth and Karl (NIcolette) Schweikarth; his grandchildren Britlyn, Bella, Mila, Emma, Giavanna, Eli; two sisters Kathy (Jim) Casale, Patricia Jones, and brother James Schweikarth, multiple nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Larry's funeral Mass on Thursday, Sept 11, 2025 at 1 PM in the St. Regis Church, 517 Homewood Ave., Trafford with Fr.
