November 3, 1956 - July 27, 2025
Lawrence P. Zielke, "Lar", age 68, of Eden Prairie, MN, formerly of Prior Lake, MN, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Larry was born in La Crosse, WI, on November 3, 1956, the son of Rinold and Mary (Cornell) Zielke.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; son, Daniel (Jamie); daughters, Natalie (Ben) Hunerberg, and Sophia (John) Torborg; grandchildren, Grasyn, Brantley, Elliette, and Noah; siblings, Cathy (Ron) Whiteman, David (Diane) Zielke, Diane Zielke, and Joan (Michael) DeLisio; as well his aunt Joan, uncle Mick, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Rinold and Mary Zielke.
Visitation Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9-10:45 a.m., followed by Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with lunch included afterwards. All will be held at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, 3611 N Berens Rd NW, Prior Lake, MN.

We knew both of Lawrence's parents when we lived in Onalaska. Mary and I had many fun chats while Ken did some carpenter work for Rini.

Joan, I am so heartfelt sorry about the lost of your husband. Even though his journey is finished on earth, his heavenly home is never ending. His spirit will always live especially in your heart and the hearts of all family. I believe so many are grateful to have known him. You all are in my prayers for comfort.
