Layne, "Layney-baby", was born October 2, 2020. She was sweet, strong-willed, and silly. Layney-baby could melt anyone's heart with her big brown eyes and bright smile. Layne loved eating blueberries, hotdogs with ketchup and ranch, and watching her favorite show, "Blaze". Layne was always ready and eager to play outside, especially on the swings. She loved going fast in the Side-by-Side with Dad and riding shotgun next to her sister "Raggy-poo" in the purple Frozen Power Wheels. Layne liked to dress up in her Bell dress, "the yellow one", and "spin" with her big sister. Layne loved to share her snacks with her brother "Wesley-boy" at the kitchen counter in the mornings. Those left to cherish Layney-baby's memory are her parents, Daren and Jamie Koppendrayer of Elk River; three year old sister - Raegan; one year old brother - Wesley; maternal grandparents, Rick and Penny Brakken of Crystal; paternal grandparents, Kevin and Mary Koppendrayer of Princeton; uncles and aunts: Joe (Katy) Brakken of Osseo, Jessie Brakken of Crystal, Angela Orcutt of Chaska, Gretchen (Nate) De Wit of Sioux Center, IA; cousins: Robbie, Skylar, and Shelby Brakken; Kyle Zeug; Caden and Kyla Orcutt; Gavin, Jaeger, and Adler De Wit; and many other family and friends. Layne Adeline was welcomed into heaven by great-grandparents: Obert and Norma Brakken; Donald and Geraldine Opsal; Jake and Pearl Koppendrayer; Ben and Adeline Groen; cousin: Leo Ferrazzo.
