Layton Cole Forrest, 6 month old infant son of Michael and Caley Sanders Forrest passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his home. He was born December 20, 2023, in Monticello, AR. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Melissa Forrest; paternal great-grandparents, Earl and Pat Forrest; maternal great-grandfather, Glen Carter; great-grandfathers, Mike Pace and Pryor Sanders; and a sister, Kaitlyn Hope Forrest.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Caley Forrest of Monticello; two brothers and a cousin, Konnor Austin Forrest, Cayson Lee Forrest and Kynlee Rae Davis all of Monticello; maternal grandparents, Joe and Heather Carter of Monticello; paternal grandfather, Shannon Forrest of Monticello; paternal grandmother, Paula Trotter and husband James of Monticello; maternal grandmothers, Carolyn Pace and Ollie Leon Carter both of Monticello; and an aunt and uncle, Samantha Hickam and husband James of Monticello.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House. You can sign his guestbook registry on this page.
