L.C. Lee, 89, of Killeen, passed away Friday evening, August 18, 2023.
L.C. Lee was the youngest child born to Limmie and Mickey Lee. He had two older brothers, Earnest and Robert Lee, Sr., and one older sister, Selma Nash Kerr.
L.C. married Dorothy Oliver Lee in 1952 and this union brought forth three children, Janet Lee of Texas, Diana Lee of Texas, and Kenneth Lee and wife, Julia, of South Carolina. L.C. had a son, Ernest Lee, who also preceded him in death. He also has four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
L.C. moved to New Mexico where he married Bonnie Lee. No children were conceived from this union. L.C. and Bonnie Lee opened a janitorial service and employed several people. After years of operation L.C. decided to move back to Texas to be closer to his family and friends.
L.C. was preceded in death by his son, Ernest Lee; brothers, Earnest Lee and Robert Lee, Sr.; and sister, Selma Nash Kerr.
Family and friends will gather at Elgin Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 30th from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a Home Going Celebration at 11:00 AM with Reverend L.R. Wilson presiding. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
