LC Dustin Murphjy

LC Dustin Murphy, born on September 9, 2003, in Toledo, Ohio, departed this world on October 19, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the young age of 21. He was a cherished son, brother, fiancé, and friend, whose life was marked by joy, love, and a passion for adventure.

LC was a dedicated detailer at Blue Beacon, where his work ethic and attention to detail mirrored the care he exhibited in his personal relationships. A lover of the outdoors, he found immense joy in camping and fishing, often taking the time to appreciate the beauty of a sunset—a testament to his reflective nature and love for simple pleasures. His interests encompassed a wide range of subjects, including history, trucks, and spending quality time with his family and his beloved dog, showcasing the depth of his character and the breadth of his passions.

One of LC's proudest accomplishments was his engagement to his fiancé, Katie Masters. Their bond was a source of great happiness for him and represented the love he shared not just with her, but with all those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.

He is survived by his parents, Calvin Murphy and Angel Encalado; siblings, Shiana Murphy, CJ Murphy, and Ashley (Joshua) Maynard; a supportive circle of extended family including aunts and uncles, Crystle Encalado, Lisa Bain, and Curtis (Pam) Murphy.

LC was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ron and Liana Morris, Patty McDaniels, and LC Murphy, as well as his great-grandparents, Shirley and Jose Encalado. He leaves behind the love and memories of several aunts and uncles who will carry his spirit in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on October 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM, both taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

In celebrating LC Dustin Murphy's life, we remember the warmth he brought to our lives, his adventurous spirit, and the love he so generously shared. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
