Leah Renea Brittian, 21, a vibrant and loving soul, was born on October 23, 2003, in DeRidder, Louisiana. She left this world far too soon on March 4, 2025, in Monroe, Louisiana. Leah's spirit touched the lives of many during her brief time with us and will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
Left to honor Leah's memory are her father Timothy Wayne of Anacoco, LA; her mother Michelle Brittian of Port Arthur, TX; three brothers-Allen Brittian, Taylor Brittian, and Hunter Brittian; two sisters-Meah Brittian and KayLee Brittian; as well as her beloved grandmother Janis Davis of Evans, LA. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whose lives she enriched with her warmth.
Preceding Leah in death was her grandfather Audrey A. Davis-a loss that has deeply affected all who loved them both.
From an early age, Leah exhibited a passion for life that was infectious. Her love for animals inspired dreams of becoming a veterinarian one day-a testament to the compassion she held within herself for all living creatures. Whether it was playing volleyball or immersing herself in arts and crafts projects filled with creativity and color or simply enjoying quiet moments reading the Bible she cherished so dearly after making a profession of faith during her teenage years-Leah embraced every moment with joy.
Her playful spirit shone brightly through simple pleasures: solving puzzles alongside family members while laughing over games or spending sunny afternoons swimming at local pools. The bond she shared with Copper-the guinea pig who brought endless delight into their home-is just one example of how deeply Leah cared for those around her.
As we gather to celebrate Leah's life on Sunday March 9th from 3:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00PM at Grace Baptist Church in Evans under the guidance of Bro. David Richmond and Bro. Gary Burton-we invite everyone whose heart has been touched by this remarkable young woman to join us in honoring not only what she accomplished but also how profoundly she impacted our lives through laughter-and most importantly-with love. Services are under the care and direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Following the service there will be interment at Evans Community Cemetery where we can lay our sweet girl to rest among familiar grounds surrounded by nature-the very essence that resonated so beautifully within Leah's spirit throughout each day spent here on Earth together.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryan Davis, Barry Davis, Richard Rusk, Allen Brittian, Taylor Brittian, and KayLee Brittain-all individuals fortunate enough to have known such an extraordinary person firsthand.
Though words may fail us now amidst grief-we find solace knowing that Leah's beautiful smile & infectious laugh remain etched forevermore within our hearts. May we carry forward memories made together-as reminders not only about who she was-but also about how much brighter this world became because SHE existed!
