It is with deep sadness that the family of Leah Gilbertson announces her passing on August 25, 2025, at home, surrounded by family.
Leah was passionate about gardening and crafts, and took great joy in caring for her family through cooking. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion for others, as well as her love of music and dancing. She never knew a stranger and brought happiness to everyone she met.
Leah was preceded in death by her father, Tony; and her brother Kurt.
She is survived by her mother, Beverley; brother, Chris; her husband, Bruce; daughters Danielle, Brandi, and Nikki; and grandchildren, Wyatt and Lilly.
Funeral service will be 5 PM, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service, 4 PM, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Partners for Pets in Marianna, Florida.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
