Leah Laudeman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Eline Funeral Home - Finksburg on Mar. 16, 2026.
Leah Beth Everhart Laudeman, 75, passed away at home in March.

Leah was born on August 3, 1950, in Belville, KS, to Margaret Beck and Leo Everhart. She lived throughout the Midwest until her job transferred her to Virginia, and later to Owego, NY, where she settled down to raise her family. When she became a grandmother, she relocated to Finksburg, MD, to be closer to her older grandson.

Leah was a dedicated stay-at-home mom, raising her two daughters. She later worked as a receptionist for Owego Chiropractic. She was known for her love of music and spending time with family and friends. In her free time, she enjoyed playing the piano, going to festivals and concerts, listening to the Beatles, and attending church. In later years, she especially enjoyed spending time with her closest friends and her two grandchildren, who affectionately called her Nana.

Leah is survived by her daughters, Ary Laudeman and India Laudeman-McNamee, and their spouses, Mitch Long and Bill McNamee; her grandchildren, Ryan McNamee (20), James McNamee (8) and Hugo Laudeman-Long (2); and her niece, Hannah Bame, and her parents. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Beck; her father, Leo Everhart; her brother, Michael Everhart; and her stepmother, Ruth Everhart.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tioga County Boys & Girls Club in Leah's memory.

Leah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a quiet and kind woman who listened empathetically to others and cared for them unconditionally.
