Leann Kay Brown Holder

Leann Kay Brown Holder, 57, of Valdese passed away on April 17,2021 at Blue Ridge Healthcare in Morganton, following a period of declining health. Ms. Holder was born on October 28, 1963 in Santa Barbara, California to Mervyn Brown and the late Carol Sue Walker Brown. Leann never met a stranger, her goal was to make everyone happy. She loved to cook, especially for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Julius Stephen Holder. Surviving family includes her father, Mervyn Brown and wife Marilyn of Colorado; two brothers, Ronald Duane Brown , Richard Eugene Brown, both of California; nephew, Aaron Holder, wife Amber and their daughter Kerigan, who she considered as her own children and granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, PO Box 32141, New York, NY, 10087-2141. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
