Leanna Christine DeBruhl, 64, of Waynesville, NC, passed away on June 27, 2025, at her home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Leanna spent the last 20 years in herbal medicine, where she loved to help others and enjoy new people. She spent most of her free time with her family and friends. Her free spirit and compassion filled the hearts of everyone she touched.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Amanda Williams and Autumn Williams (CJ), grandson Brayden Williams, brothers Darrell Surrett (Donna), James Surrett (Patti), sister Wanda Surrett (Donnie), two step-grandchildren Gavin and Isabella McKinney, along with many nieces and nephews.
We would like to give a special thank you to Four Seasons Hospice for all they did to provide excellent care for our mother.
23rd Psalm
The LORD is my shepherd.
I shall not want.
He maketh me lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff They comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever
