Leanna Marie Sharrett of Avon, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2024, at 44 years old. She was born on June 23, 1980, in Anderson, Indiana to Fred and Tenna (Cookman) Farley. Most recently, Leanna was a Vacation Specialist for Bluegreen Vacations and prior to that was a Pediatric Nurse at Riley Hospital for Children for many years. She loved books and spent countless hours reading, especially while soaking up the sun. She also loved to attend concerts and spend time on the beach with her friends and family. Leanna loved her family more than anything. She could always be found supporting her daughters in their extracurricular activities including travel softball, basketball, tennis, Orchestra, as well as being a loyal fan of Decatur Central Hawks football. She was a proud coach’s wife and supporting her husband and his team was one of the things that brought her the most joy. Her legacy will continue to live on through her loving family. Leanna is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis, her daughters, Lily (17), and Taylor (15), her mother, Tenna Farley, her sister, Krista Waitman, and a host of extended family and friends. To Celebrate Leanna’s life, the family invites you to share time with them Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Valley Mills Christian Church 5555 Kentucky Avenue Indianapolis, Indiana with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4:00pm.
