Leanora Marley, affectionately known as "Aunt Lena," was born on February 10, 1931, in Clarendon, Jamaica to the late Anni Marley and Soloman Marley. She passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, surrounded by love.
Aunt Lena was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and aunt. She leaves to mourn her beloved daughter, Daisy Livingston, and son-in-law, Lester Livingston; her sons, Job (Pal) Francis and Balford Douglas. Grandchildren: Maxine Smith and her husband, Errol Smith; Sonia Fields and her husband, Scott Fields; Nakeisha Grant and her husband Damian Grant; and Akeem Douglas. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren: Matthew Smith, Ashley Smith, Simone Smith, Julian Morrison, Ethan Fields, Kijani Grant, Ajauni Grant and Gemie-lia Sebrena Douglas. She was also blessed to have great-great-grandchildren: Marcellus Correa Smith, Mya Morrison, Julian Morrison Jr. (JJ) and Preston Morrison. Nieces: Gloria Small-Campbell, Alice Small, Daisy Small, Eulalee Small, Lameta Small-Nolan, Daisy Johnson, Myrtle Thomas. Nephews: Ronald Hall and Lloyd Hall. Adopted granddaughter, Nola Clarke and Adopted Great Granddaughter, Sohema Clarke.
Aunt Lena was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
A special thank you to VITAS Healthcare Hospice for the compassionate care provided over the years and during her final days. The family also extends heartfelt gratitude to Kimberly Hall Cambridge West Nursing Home. We also deeply appreciate the ongoing support and prayers from Bloomfield United Methodist Church throughout the years.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 10:00 am-11:00 am, with the Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 am at The Lodge Community Chapel, 130 Deerfield Rd., Windsor
