Leanora Pace

Leanora "Lee" Pace, 72, of Cedar Grove has passed away on January 11, 2026.
Lee was a vibrant, selfless, and deeply loving woman whose presence brought joy wherever she went. Known as the life of the party, Lee had an infectious spirit, a warm smile, and a contagious laugh that made everyone feel welcome. She loved shopping, spending days at the beach, and the occasional visit to the casino. She also enjoying lunches filled with laughter alongside her dear friends, where her fun-loving personality truly shined.
Lee adored her grandchildren more than anything. She found great happiness in baking special cakes for her grandchildren and nephews, always making sure they felt loved and cared for. Her generosity knew no limits, she gave everything she had to her family and friends, often putting others before herself, even when she had little.
A strong and fiercely independent woman, Lee dedicated many years of her life working as a waitress at Jim Johnson, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kind heart. Above all else, she was a dedicated and supportive mother, making many sacrifices to provide the best life she could for her son with whom she formed an unbreakable bond. Lastly she was a devoted daughter, lovingly caring for her mother until the very end, a true testament to her selflessness and strength.
Lee is survived by her beloved mother, Leanora Pepe; her treasured son, Eric Pace, and his wife, Daniela, the daughter she never had; her cherished grandchildren, Jonathan and Sofia; her brother, Michael Pepe; and her adored furry grandcat, Howie. She was predeceased by her loving father, Alfonso Pepe; her brother, Joe Pepe; and her sisters, Claudia Roskosz and Carol Hale.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 3 – 7p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009. Interment will be private. Memories and condolences may be received at shookscedargrove.com.
