Lear Kruse Obituary
Lear Alexander Kruse, June 9, 1986-January 1, 2026, was preceded in death by
grandparents Bob and Bonnie Cantrell, Al and Jenny Kruse and Aunt Juanita Kruse.
Survived by wife Kylie Kruse, parents Ron and Dana Kruse, brother and sister-in-law
Lance and Ericka Kruse, brother Luke Kruse, mother-in-law Michele Madden, aunts and
uncles Pug Swenson, Elaine Mueller, Bob and Diane Kruse, Gary and Paula Kruse,
Don and Robyn Heerlein, Greg and Sue Cantrell, Rick and Marva Adams, nieces Abby
and Dessi Kruse and nephews Noah and Toussaint Kruse, as well as numerous
cousins.
Lear attended Caruthers Elementary School and High School, and graduated in 2004.
He excelled in football as the quarterback at Caruthers High School and played varsity
basketball for three years. He was chosen to join the city/county All Star team for both
sports, was selected athlete of the year, and voted homecoming king his senior year in
2004. After high school, Lear was recruited to play football at Santa Barbara City
College where he continued to play as quarterback, as well as wide receiver. He was a
member of Life Ministries of Fresno where he played the bass guitar in the worship
band and is where his father, Ron Kruse, is the pastor.
Lear and Kylie were married on October 6, 2018 in San Luis Obispo, California. Lear
was passionate about travel and together they visited over 30 states and 10 countries.
Lear had a gift for sales and a calling for real estate and people, which are family traits.
He had friends across the country. Lear was an amazing husband and dog "dad" to their
Shih Tzu Sammy and carried him where ever they went. Lear wanted to see and do as
much as he could and to be a friend to as many people as possible in his life, and he
absolutely succeeded. In the last three months of his life, he became increasingly close
to the Lord, regularly attending church and bible study.
He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed enough to spend even a short
amount of time with him and is loved dearly by all who knew him.
