Ernest Eli Cook Jr "Junior " was born July 13,1948 to Mary and Ernest Cook Sr. Of Greensboro NC.

Junior passed away peacefully January 12, 2026 with family by his side.

Junior was a native of Greensboro NC. He was a Steal/Iron worker by trade. He loved working with his hands building model cars, Legos and making jewelry boxes. Big Carolina Tar Heels fan.

He loved his family and cherished his great grandchildren.

Junior was preceded in death by Daughter Betty Jo Cook father Ernest Cook Sr mother Mary Parrish brother Jody Cook sister Stella Smith nephew Michael Smith.

He is survived by Daughter Trinkle Branson (David) of Stokesdale NC son Ernest Cook lll of McLeansville NC sister Barbara Radford (Ron) of Randleman NC brother Bobby Cook (Rae) of Stokesdale grandchildren Maranda and Marisa Goss of Stokesdale. Special nephew 1st Lieutenant of GCSO David Cook of High Point NC

8 great grandchildren. Nieces nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday January 31,2026. 2pm at Church Street Baptist Church Fellowship Hall
