Leatta Johnson Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Leatta W. Johnson who entered into rest March 17, 2024.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Edgefield County, was a graduate of Edgefield County Colored School and a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Dr. Charlie Johnson, Sr. of the home; four sons, Christopher (Annette) Johnson of Graniteville, SC, Bishop Gary (Markeida) Johnson of Tulsa, OK, Charlie (Nicole) Johnson, Jr. of Edgefield, SC and Deacon Handy (Catrinka) Johnson of Trenton, SC; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Bettis Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Edgefield.
