Charles Smith Obituary
Mr. Smith, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1975 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and 1981 graduate of Voorhees College where he earned his Bachelors degree. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Brenda (Leroy) Johnson and Rosa (Freddie) Jackson; three brothers, James R. (Norma Jean) Smith, Henry L. (Barbara) Smith, Jr. and Robert Carl Smith; brother-in-law, Loren Simpkins; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Clark, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Edgefield.
