Marcellus Tillman Obituary
Mr. Tillman, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1983 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Jeter Baptist Church. He was employed with Bridgestone Firestone.
Survivors include his wife, Suffyah Tillman; two daughters, Tawanna Dubose and Sekina Yolanda Tillman; two brothers, Leon Tillman and Rodney (Natonia) Tillman; four grandchildren, Deon Dubose, Okiera Dubose, Princess Sophia Dubose and Symphony Tillman; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev., Dr. Leonard O. Griffin is the pastor and the Rev. James E. Thomas eulogist. Interment will follow in Jeter Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family will receive guests at the home (28 Pleasant Lane Ext, North Augusta, SC) from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM daily from now until Tuesday.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
