Lechia Wright Obituary
HARTFORD – Lechia Ellen Wright, 64, of Hartford passed away January 4th, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on February 18th, 1961to the late David and Kathryn Bryant Howard.
Lechia enjoyed working in her yard, watching her butterflies and hummingbirds, going to play bingo with her friends, fishing with her mom and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Craig Howard, Rhonda Logsdon and Roddy Lee Howard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Terry Wright; daughters, Starla Wright and Amy (James) Riley; grandchildren, Deadra (Zachary) Miller, Logan Riley, Danyell Calloway, Jazmyn (Julian) Figueroa, Carson Riley, Alex Calloway and Chandler (Everest) Riley; great-grandchildren, Adela, Rosie, Marston, Zora, Amias, Delilah, Braelynn, Silas, Layne, Alora Lechia, Olivia, Roman and one on the way; siblings, Tonya (Donald) Perry, Kent Howard and Chris Howard; and life-long friends, Tresa Burden and Jeannie Kennedy.
Services will be held Friday, January 9th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jay Raymond presiding. Friends may visit with the family on January 8th, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
