Shortly after nursing school she met William Wixom and they married. She had two children, daughter, Brandy and son, Michael. She then moved with her family to California where she pursued her medical career as a licensed Surgical Tech and then a licensed Psych Tech. After a while she found her calling as a certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor. She retired to Corsicana to be closer to her children and her grandchild. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Midget and pursuing her passion of gardening and helping the Drug & Alcohol Recovery Community.
Leda is survived by her daughter, Brandy, son Michael and granddaughter Madison.
The family chose to honor her wishes and have her cremated and will honor her with a Celebration of Life at a late date.
In lieu of flowers & gifts, please make a donation to your local Animal Shelter in her name.

Leda was my dear cousin. We were short of being 6 months apart and close even though we were miles away from each other. When we were young I couldn´t wait for my favorite cousin to arrive at family holiday gatherings. We hugged each other by the Christmas tree and still hugged many years later. Leda was smart, beautiful and a great sense of humor. I will miss her. My condolences to her daughter Brandy and son Michael. She loved you both so very much.
