Lediabelle (Ledie) Wolf Kline, age 98, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Saturday morning, July 19, 2025, at the National Church Residences in Chillicothe.
Ledie was born on October 26, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Marie (Doherty) Wolf.
Recently a group of family members talked about what Ledie was like. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. We also concluded she was determined, positive, contented, fun and totally filled with God's love.
Ledie was saved in a revival meeting in Newport, Ohio. She had a new life in Christ, and never looked back.
Family was a great priority in her life. She was a major contributor to the success of her husband's ministry. (Dr. Robert Kline) Her prayers and her lifestyle spoke clearly of her commitment to him and her Lord.
Christmas and Thanksgiving were her favorite holidays. They were days of family gatherings and celebration.
Ledie was also a sports fan. That all started at West Jefferson High School where she was a cheerleader for the West Jefferson Roughriders. She also rooted for the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
In addition to her parents, Ledie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Robert Kline, whom she married on March 29, 1946 and her daughter, Barbara Kline McCain.
Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Karen (Rev. Phil) Conrad of Hillard, and Connie (Rev. David) Dean of Circleville; son-in-law, Rick McCain of Urbana; grandchildren, Chad (Sandra) Conrad, Heather (Jason) Dooley, Matthew (Beth) McCain, and Megan (Eric) Rice; and seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends. Her memory will forever be cherished by all her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St. Washington CH, OH 43160, with Rev. Phil Conrad, Rev. David Dean, and Rev. Burial will be held at the Kingscreek Cemetery in Urbana, Ohio on Friday, July 25, at 1 p.m.
