Lee Ray Abrams, known as "Cowboy," passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2024. Born April 1, 1955, to Doyle and Florence Abrams, he graduated from Clearfield High School in 1973. On November 10, 1981, he married Melanie Beck in Farmington, Utah.
Lee lived life to the fullest, embracing his roles as an all-around cowboy, steer wrestler, and long-haul truck driver. He had a passion for hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, baseball, softball, and riding his Harley. His UMF brothers held a special place in his heart.
Lee worked for Craythorne Construction. He is survived by his wife, Melanie, son Doyle, daughter Ashlee (Neal) Ward, grandsons Trenton and Weston Ward, sister MaryLyne Jones (Ernie), brother Dale Abrams, mother Florence Abrams, and his beloved fur baby, Baxter.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11 AM at Lindquist Mortuary, 869 S. 2000 N., Syracuse, Utah. Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Thursday, October 17, from 6 to 8 PM, and again on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, prior to the service.
Interment will follow at West Point Cemetery.
