Lee Edward Bonollo, 87, of Angier, North Carolina, passed away at home on September 27, 2025. He was a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed.
He was born on July 18, 1938, in Woonsocket, RI, to Leo Bonollo and Helen (Chestercove) Bonollo. After serving in the US Air Force, he went on to work 33 years as a forklift operator for Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He married his beloved wife, Deborah, on October 23,1965 and together they raised 2 sons. He was a resident of Mason, NH, for 43 years before relocating to Angier, North Carolina, in December 2021. He was a quiet man who loved billiards, bowling, baseball and especially the Red Sox. He was most happy riding on the back of one of his motorcycles.
He is survived by his son, Michael Bonollo and daughter-in-law Clessie Bonollo; son, Joseph Bonollo; sister, Victoria Tibbetts; and granddaughter, Kiana Bonollo as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah (Carlson) Bonollo; his parents, Leo & Helen; his sister, Lorraine Pytka; and his brother, Thomas Bonollo.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 3 PM. Professional Services are entrusted to Lori’s Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home’s Headquarters/Galleria located at 1110 Holmes Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
