Lee Chapman Obituary
Lee Howard Chapman, 59, of Zanesville, passed away November 26, 2023, at his residence.
He was born July 12, 1964, in Zanesville, son of the late, Pearley H. Chapman and Janet C. Pitts Chapman. He attended Macedonia United Methodist Church and worked for Falls Township for 31 1/2 years until his retirement in 2020. He was a 1982 graduate of West Muskingum High School. Lee loved the outdoors and especially his farm life. He had an ornery sense of humor and was known as the Gentle Giant. Lee will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his Brothers In Christ, Charles (Melissa) Norris Jr., Lynn (Debbie) Wall; Sisters In Christ Amy Jo Duffy, Mary Pinkerton; 2nd mother Roberta Norris; nieces and nephews, Kenzie (Levi) Peairs, Kolt Norris, Keelia (Sage) Householder; great-niece and nephews, Brenley & Tyce Peairs, Chance & Clay Householder; cousin Denise (Richard) Herron; friends, Chuck (Susan) Stoneburner, Rick (Phyllis) Whited, Gary Wilson, James Smith, Gordon (Joyce) Lynn, Jim Polk; host of others that called him friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Sue Chapman; several other family members.
Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, November 30, 2023, at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery.
