Lee Roy Corn, of Cadillac, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Samaritas Senior Living in Cadillac. He was 84 years old.
Lee was born on December 19, 1939 to Leonard and Irene (Barnett) Corn at Cartersville, Georgia. He answered the call of duty serving in the United States Army. On January 24, 1959 he entered into marriage with the former Patricia Ann Edwards in Cadillac, Michigan. He spent his career working for Cadillac Public Schools as a maintenance supervisor for over 31 years, until his time of retirement. He then worked briefly at the State Police station and a few years at Ackerman Electric. In his younger years, he liked going hunting. The couple made many trips on their motorcycle traveling out west and down south together. Lee and Pat also enjoyed snowbirding down to Florida for over 25 years and going country dancing together. In his spare time, he enjoyed having coffee with his buddies.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia Corn; sons, Larry Lee Corn and Jim Lee (Linda) Corn; grandsons, Chris, Jon and Curtis (Heather); numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Warren; two sisters, Linda and Diana; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Lee Corn; his mother, Irene Mason; an infant great-granddaughter; three brothers; and one sister.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
