Clarence “Lee” Corn, 85, of Lubbock, met his Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, January 29, 2026. Lee was born to the late Delpha William Corn and Valta Mae (Wilson) Corn.

Lee attended schools in the Wichita Falls Independent School District and graduated from high school with the Senior Class of 1958. Shortly thereafter, he met Fredna Moore and they were married on September 24, 1958. Sadly, she passed away on September 25, 1995, after 37 years of marriage.

However, love in Lee’s heart kept on giving. Lee met Roberta Daigle, and they were married on August 16, 2008, in Lubbock, and they have spent over 17 years together of which were happy and joyous.

Lee served proudly for 20 years with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff before retiring in 2003. He loved to fish and watch his favorite baseball team, the Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed basketball and was an avid reader of westerns, mysteries and loved to watch all the John Wayne movies. Lee enjoyed engaging his children and grandchildren in board games, dominos, scrabble and, yes, even poker. Lee was raised by his parents in the Baptist faith.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Roberta of Lubbock; six children: Vicki Kolb of Lubbock, Deanna Hearn and husband Geoff of Lubbock, Tammy Corn of Lubbock, Nichole Trussell of Stephenville, Whitney Bouchard and partner Maria Bouchard of Stephenville, and Crystal Tobias of Lubbock. He also left behind 27 precious grandchildren and 18 precious great-grandchildren. Those who have gone on ahead of Lee include his first wife, Fredna, his parents, two sons: Marcell Daigle and Pierre Daigle, a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Kolb, a brother, D. W. Corn Jr., and three sisters: Alta, Juanita, and Linda.

Private family services will be held soon. Cremation arrangements were under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.

Those who wish to remember, or honor Lee, the family asks that in recognition that there will not be a public service, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to a charity of one’s choosing.
