Lee Giesecke Obituary
After graduating from the University of Memphis in 1968, she began a 27-year career with IBM, retiring in 1995. From 1995 to 2010, she served as CEO of The Atlanta Women's Commerce Club and in more recent years she was a dedicated member of the Dunwoody Woman's Club.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Geoff Knapp, and grandsons, Erik and Kevin Knapp.
In lieu of flowers, the family offers two favored causes for memorial gifts: The Flo Bruns Scholarship Fund at Kennesaw State University (https://bit.ly/FloBruns) and Georgia WIN List, which helps elect women to public office (https://www.gawinlist.com/honory-and-memorial-gifts/). We will miss a wonderful friend, always smiling and ready to help with all our projects in the Dunwoody Woman´s Club. She was a very capable person who took on projects with a smile and success! I am grateful to have worked with her and to have called her my friend,,,,,I will miss her.
