Lee Harvey Patterson

Lee Harvey Patterson, 70, of Abilene passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. Memorial Services will be held at 1pm, Monday, December 5, 2022, at North's Funeral Home Chapel at 242 Orange St Abilene TX, 79601.
Lee was born on April 9, 1952 in Carlsbad, NM to Emma Rose Akridge Patterson and William Lee Harvey Patterson. Lee moved to Breckenridge, TX with his family at a young age. He received his primary education from Breckenridge High School. After High School he went to work learning several skills from upholstery to paint and body. He was best known for his paint and body work and selling his restored vehicles. Lee had a deep love for fast cars and you could often find him on a race track, racing anything from dirt track to drag strip. In His spare time he loved to spend time with his family. He loved being a grandfather and great-grandfather. He coached UGSA softball and Little Dribblers basketball in Breckenridge, TX for several years. His witty sense of humor and contagious laugh will be missed dearly.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charlie and Bobby Patterson, and two sisters Gwen and Nita Patterson.
Left to cherish his memories are: son, Kelly Martin and wife April of Mineola; three daughters Shawnda Cardona and husband Lupe of Abilene, Angie Hewitt of San Antonio, and Deann Wallen and husband Doug of St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Molly Buller and husband Ricky of Breckenridge and Rebecca Perry of Plano; two brothers, Johnny Patterson and wife Earlene, and George Patterson and wife Teresa of Trinity; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
