Lee Pearlman, 80, of Ottawa, passed away on Friday evening, August 15, 2025 at his home, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Lee was born on April 12, 1945 in Kenosha, WI to Mitchell and Phyllis (Grotsky) Pearlman. He received his B.S from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Lee was a Veteran of the US Air Force, where he served as an Aircraft Electrician in Germany, during Vietnam. He married Bette (Elizabeth) Dahlberg on April 17, 1971 in Racine, WI. Lee retired from Snap-On Tools and became a realtor with Century 21 Windsor Realty. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, also known as the "Pearlman Charm," and his love of dogs. His greatest joy in life were his grandchildren and great grandchild.
Lee is survived by his wife, Bette; three children, Jack (Cathy) Pearlman of Durant, IA, Julie (Ryan) Farrell of Green Bay, WI, and Michelle (Jon) Schramm of LaSalle, IL; eight grandchildren, Isabel, Rylie, Zachary, Garrett, Sophia, Nathan, Jane, and Ellie; a great granddaughter, Hazel; a brother Larry Pearlman; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Pearlman, Rita DeFranco, and Susan (Len) Wisneski; brothers-in-law, Ronnie (Diana) Dahlberg and Mark Ehman; nieces and nephews, Brian (Martha), Scott (Gina), Lynn (Don), Mike (Lori), Diana (Eric), Stephanie, Kathy (Rob), Danny, Ericka, Christopher (Jaclyn), and Brian; numerous great nieces and nephews; and all dear family, friends and neighbors that have meant so much to us throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law; a brother Herb Pearlman; brother-in-law, Mike DeFranco; sister-in-law, Jeanne Ehman; and nephew, Mark Wisneski.
