Lee M. Wehmeier, Sr. of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of 71 years to Elsie Wehmeier; cherished son of the late William and Clair Wehmeier; devoted father of Lee (Susan) Wehmeier, Jr., Gary (Micki) Wehmeier, Nick (Christine) Wehmeier, Kent (Kris) Wehmeier, and Carolyn Jenkins (Troy Carter); loving grandfather of Lindsay Wehmeier, Jordan (Connor) Jenisch, Kirsten Wehmeier, Max Wehmeier, Alec (Mia) Wehmeier, Stephanie (Josh) Shepard, Andrew (Shelly) Wehmeier, Kristen Wehmeier, Alesandra (Nicole) Wehmeier, and Stefan Wehmeier. Lee is preceded in death by his siblings June (Johnny) Munzert, Clarence (Eleanor) Wehmeier, Ray (Ruth) Wehmeier, and Alyn (Betty) Wehmeier.

Lee loved the outdoors and spent much of his free time and retirement farming, camping, and traveling. He was known for his ability to fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to neighbors, friends, and family. Family was of the utmost importance to him. Lee worked as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas and later Boeing. He was active in Boy Scouting and was a member of First St. Charles United Methodist Church. An Army veteran from the World War II era, Lee carried a lifelong spirit of service and dedication. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Lee's name to American Red Cross and First St. Charles United Methodist Church.
