MILLIS- Leesa Beth (Fleischman) Themistocles, 59, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on May 12, 2023, after a yearlong illness. Leesa was born on February 19, 1964, to Marty Fleischman and Marlene White in Skokie, Il. Leesa and her family moved to Framingham in 1966 and lived there for over thirty years.
Leesa and Peter met in Framingham in their kindergarten class in 1969. Fast forward, and she married Peter in 1991 and lived in Framingham and Ashland before settling into Millis in 2000. They went on to have two beautiful girls, and she raised her family in Millis up until her death.
In addition to raising her family, Leesa was also known by all as a super effective relationship builder and built her career in sales and relationship management to amazing levels across multiple industries.
She is survived by her husband Peter and her daughters Oliva and Emily. Leesa is also survived by her mother, Marlene White, now of Holliston, MA and her brother Marc Fleischman and his family Ellen and Trevor, of Holliston; also, Leesa is survived by her Aunt Sherri James Buxton and her family David, Jen and Ashley, all originally of Lee, MA.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, May 15 in the Chapel at Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Leesa's family during Shiva at their residence in Millis from 5-8pm on Monday May 15th, and again at 5-8 PM on Tuesday May 16th.
In lieu of flowers, please offer a donation in Leesa's name to the Chabad House Jewish Center, a wonderful organization who provided Leesa and her family comfort over this past year. Leesa has been very concerned about the rise in antisemitism in our society lately. She felt a donation here would help send a "numbers message" to the world that there is no room for this sort of bigotry in our home state of Massachusetts, or anywhere. Donate at www.gotchabad.com. Leesa and I found each other in the early days of motherhood. We met just before our daughters (who happen to share a birthday), Livvy and Lauren, turned one. Having her as a friend kept the dark, lonely, early days in Millis (her words) at bay. Our friendship continued through the kids growing up, and she became my best friend over the years, continuing to bring joy, and light to my world. I miss you dreadfully "Old Same".

I just learned of Leesa´s passing very recently, and I want to give my heartfelt condolences to all of you, her dear family. I didn´t know Leesa all that well, but I have the nicest memories of her great spirit, and thoughtful, helpful ways all of the time when the girls were growing up. Leesa was wonderful!! Sending you my best thoughts and prayers to you all
