Leida Cintron Obituary

Daughter of the late Armando and Marcela (Martinez) Camacho, she was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on November 21, 1937. In the late 50's, Leida moved to New York where she met the love of her life, Raymond Cintron, Sr. in Brooklyn, NY. They were married on December 12, 1959. Ray predeceased her in 2013.
Leida enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was an arts & crafts enthusiast and spent time knitting and painting. But most of all, Leida enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond & his wife Berthalina of New Hyde Park, NY and Charlie & his wife, Raquel of Shelton, CT; her grandchildren, Emma, Noah, Ethan and Ryan; her sister, Annie; her stepsister Lerci; her cousin, Lillian; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Leida was predeceased by many of her siblings as well as her stepsister and stepbrother - Elba, Julio, Avila, Rexford, Marvin, baby Milca, Nilka and Flavio.
Calling hours will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 28 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A service will be held at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m.
