Leif G Carlson

Leif and I grew up together at First Lutheran Church in Iron River and graduated together from West Iron County High School in 1969. I remember him as quiet and studious, and never expected him to have the career he did! I am so grateful that we were able to talk together at our 55th class reunion last year. He was a great man, and I know he is in a good place. Love and peace to those who loved him and are grieving his passing.

Leif, Kurt, and my husband Chuck Wiegand Jr. had a special bond more like brothers versus brother-in-laws. They did many things together. hunting, building the house on the family farm in the Upper Peninsula, and reminiscing about family times. There special bond of brotherhood has been for 50 years. Leif will truly be missed! Our condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace.
