Leigh Ann was born on June 13, 1976 in Mobile, Alabama, to parents William Thomas Cherry and Carolyn Anne Odom Cherry and moved with her family to Nashville, Tennessee in 1980. Leigh Ann attended McGavock High School in Nashville and received her diploma in 1994. Leigh Ann relocated back to Mobile in 2003 where she lived out the remainder of her life surrounded by beloved family and friends.
Leigh Ann's greatest loves were her family and all animals. She considered the cats and dogs she had over the years her children and loved them as such. Above all else, Leigh Ann will be remembered as a wonderful sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Leigh Ann is survived by her siblings Laura Milbrath (Harry) of Townsend, Tennessee; Tommy Cherry, Jr. (Michelle) of Mobile, Alabama; Tim Cherry (Wanda) Hermitage, Tennessee; and Lisa Frye (Steve) of Nashville, Tennessee. Leigh Ann is also survived by her nieces and nephews Todd Milbrath (Stephanie), Cory Milbrath, Amy Milbrath, Matthew Cherry (Tamara), Michael Cherry, Mitchell Cherry, Logan Frye and Bailey Frye; four great nieces and nephews: Colby Milbrath, Abigaile Milbrath, Chance Worley and Tayton Cherry; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Leigh Ann is preceded in death by; her beloved parents, Tom & Anne Cherry; her maternal grandparents, William Hannis "Dick" Odom and Ella Mae Reynolds Odom; her paternal grandparents Alec Hugh Cherry, Sr. & Edith Pauline Page Cherry; a host of aunts and uncles; and her great nephew Nash Thomas Cherry. All of Mobile, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, June 19th, 2023, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Prior to the service Visitation will be taking place from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
