Leilani C. Morgan

LEILANI C. (ELMORE) MORGAN – of Woburn, died peacefully February 15th at the age of seventy-six, with her family by her side.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lorraine (O'Connor) Elmore. Her father proudly served in the United States Navy, and during her childhood the family relocated frequently.

Leilani was a graduate of Princess Anne High School, Class of 1968, in Virginia. She went on to earn her Nursing Degree from Lewis and Clark Community College in Illinois, Class of 1972. A dedicated and compassionate professional, she worked for more than 30 years as an Operating Room Nurse at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was known as a hard worker who took great pride in caring for others.

Leilani was married for 40 years to her beloved husband, Charles T. "Charlie" Morgan Jr., until his passing in 2024. Together they enjoyed traveling and creating lasting memories.

Above all, Leilani's greatest joy was her family. She was their biggest fan - especially her grandchildren - faithfully cheering them on from near and far at sporting events, activities, and milestones. Her devotion to her children and grandchildren defined her life. A woman of deep faith, Leilani lived with kindness, compassion, and grace, drawing strength from her beliefs throughout her life.

She was the devoted mother of the late John Morgan, and his surviving wife, Laurieann of NH; Charles T. Morgan III and his wife Amy of Woburn, Joanne Fishlin and her husband Jared of Woburn, James J. Morgan and his wife Erin of CT, and Michael F. Morgan and his wife Dawn of Dracut. Cherished grandmother of Austin, Megan, Riley, Benjamin, Christopher, Nicholas, Isabelle, Alana, Oliver, Aiden, Joshua, Jacob, Zach, Madison, Michael, Peyton and Vera. Dear cousin of James and Sharon O'Connor of Billerica. Sister-in-law to Patricia and Richard Morgan and aunt to Stephanie Morgan Patton and Sean Morgan.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 20th at 11 a.m. in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours prior to the service from 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn.
