Lela Victoria Bosi, also known as Vickie, peacefully passed away on August 27, 2023, in Ocala, FL, at the age of 56. She was born on October 11, 1966, in Atlanta, GA, to Julie Dyes and Jack Jenkins. Lela was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Jenkins.
Vickie was a loving, caring, and generous soul, always brightening the lives of those around her with her sweet and beautiful nature. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her sister, Jackie Rodriguez, and her children, Dennis Bosi II, Shawn Corrilo, and Megan Bosi. Vickie was also a devoted wife to her husband of 38 years, Dennis Bosi.
Throughout her life, Vickie found fulfillment in her career as a Registered Nurse at Morton Plant, where she dedicated herself to caring for others from 1998 to her passing in 2023. She loved mentoring new nurses with her compassionate and nurturing spirit. She cared for everyone who crossed paths with her like they were her family. She touched many lives throughout her career, both staff and patients.
In her free time, Vickie enjoyed staying in Homosassa, FL, and cherished every moment she spent with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the flea market, where she would find joy in discovering unique treasures. She also enjoyed fishing, and her cold can of Coca-Cola.
A celebration of Vickie's life will be held on September 23rd, 2023, starting at 11 am at Mission City Church, located at 801 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL 33770. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to come together and honor Vickie's memory.
Lela Victoria Bosi will forever be remembered for her love, care, and unwavering generosity. Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.
