Lela Bell Locklin passed from this earth to glorious Heaven on May 17, 2025, in her home in Denver City, TX.
Lela was born on December 27, 1938, in Caraway, Arkansas to parents Lewis and Dessie Johnson. She married Ronnie Hal Locklin on August 26, 1956.
Lela was a homemaker and loving wife to her husband, Ronnie Hal and children, Ronnie Dee and Lorri. She was so immensely proud of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; they brought her so much joy.
Lela enjoyed crafts, painting, archery, and playing cards. She also loved crocheting beautiful keepsakes for her family. She was a member of the Eastern Stars group for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Lewis and Dessie Johnson, her husband, Ronnie Hal Locklin, and grandson Jacob Locklin.
Lela is survived by her daughter: Lorri Minter (Billy), sons: Ronnie Locklin (Mary) and Roddy Locklin (Audrey), sisters: Linda Johnson (Miles) and Mary Beth Harris (Greg), as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:30 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, in Denver City, Texas.
Funeral Services for Lela Bell Locklin will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church, Denver City, Texas under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jesse Garcia.
