Lelah Deloris Kroenlein

Lelah Deloris Kroenlein, age 93, passed away at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Lakeland Health Care Center in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at Pagel Funeral home in Edgewood, Illinois with a two-hour visitation prior to service. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Burial will be at the Edgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the donor's choice.
Lelah was born on August 19, 1930 in Cumberland County, Illinois to Henry and Stella (Oakley) McClain. She married Luther Henry Kroenlein on September 13, 1948 in Neoga, Illinois. She also loved crafting, decorating, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Kroenlein (wife Rondell) of Farina and Tony Kroenlein (wife Valjean) of Edgewood; daughter, Connie Hart (husband Dennis) of Effingham; sister, Marilyn Ray (late husband Leon) Toledo; brother-in-law, Gary Nelson of Toledo 7 seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 9 great- great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Stella McClain; brothers, Orville McClain, Johnnie McClain and Howard McClain; sisters, Josie Boswell, Reba Shaw, Mary Sparks, Dona Light and Carolyn Nelson; brothers-in-laws, Robert Boswell, Robert Shaw, Ben Sparks; sister-in- laws, Sara Nell McClain, and Naomi McClain
