Lelia "Lillian" Leodora Cunningham,97, from Las Vegas, NV, passed gently into her next adventure on Christmas, December 25, 2023. She was born on November 5, 1926, in Salida, CO, the daughter of Rosario and Delia Pacheco Trujillo.
Shortly after WWII she met Doyle L. Cunningham and they became the parents of Ken, Priscilla, Tim, Bob, and Dave. Together they lived in Salida and Pueblo, CO and then, in 1995, they moved to Las Vegas, NV where they lived for 28 years.
Lillian made friends everywhere she went and she loved talking to people and having a good time. She belonged to several social clubs such as Ladies Red Hats, and the Good Sam Club where she and Doyle made lifelong friends touring around the country in their RV. Lillian was a painter, cake decorator, enjoyed ceramics and just about any other craft where people would get together for a good party.
She is preceded in death by mother, father, and son, Bob, and siblings, Ann, Doris, Alfred, Ray and Jake.
Surviving are one daughter and three sons, Priscilla (aka Perk) Campbell, Ken, Tim and Dave Cunningham, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and brother, Eddy, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her.
A celebration of life for Leila will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005. A reception to follow service will occur.
