Lena (Wallene) Rae Sarrett passed from this earth on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was 77. She resided in Hot Springs, Arkansas at the time of her passing. She was born June 1, 1947 to Wanda Marcum and Wallace Sarrett in South Gate, California. She graduated from La Serna High School in 1965.
Lena was an artist and spent her life creating jewelry and took joy in so many hobbies and interests. She was adventurous and loved to travel. In the 80's and 90's she traveled around the southwest United States with her children selling her artwork and jewelry. She raised her three children in Arizona. Her sons and daughter were her entire life. She had two grandsons and she loved them with all of her heart and was so proud to be their grandma.
Lena is preceded in death by her mother Wanda Marcum and stepfather Eugene Marcum, sister Kathie Anderson, cousin Marlena White, aunt Bette Belyeu and uncle Jack Belyeu, best friends Jan Keefer and Barb Foley.
She is survived by her two grandsons Silas Foreman and Zane Sarrett, daughter Crystal Whitebird, sons Jesse Sarrett and Joel Sarrett, brother Mark Sarrett, nieces Kim and Jennifer, nephew Zack, lifelong best friends John, Michele, Brese, Bobbie, Sandy, Jim and Ellen.
